Black Widow Brief Synopsis

Hands up those who have not thought at some point that they could murder their spouse or partner?

Often we say it…of course we don't actually mean it…or do we? Unfortunately some people actually carry out the threat…Stella is one such woman!

BLACK WIDOW (OR HOW TO MURDER YOUR HUSBAND!) is a comic observation of two aspects of life. The first, when life seems to block your every move and the world conspires to work against you. No matter how hard you try to give it your best shot, life just keeps on putting brick walls in front of you that have to be scaled.

The second when you take things into your own hands and attempt to determine your own destiny, for better or for worse, you take the plunge and risk the consequences.

Stella is searching for love. Her first attempt is to do it all the right way. She is domesticated into a stupor until it all becomes unbearable with the discovery of her husband's infidelities. She discovers that the perfect way to deal with the problem is the perfect accident…the perfect murder…the perfect solution!

Stella tries several times to find love and in each scenario she is betrayed. The solution – another perfect accident! Seduced by her rate of success she ultimately gets careless and meets her fate.

BLACK WIDOW is filled with love and loss, dreams and desires, murder and mayhem….now that's something to sing about!

BLACK WIDOW has 2 principal characters. The male principal role covers several characters. There is a vocal trio of girls. A 3 piece band - keyboard, bass and drums.
